New Issue: RBC sells $2.94 million buffered enhanced return notes on EAFE ETF

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 27 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $2.94 million of 0% buffered enhanced return notes due Feb. 26, 2021 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any gain, up to a maximum payout of $1,200 for each $1,000 of notes.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 16.85% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 16.85%.
