New Issue: GS Finance sells $277,000 ETF-linked notes on iShares MSCI ETFs

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 5 – GS Finance Corp. priced $277,000 of 0% notes due May 4, 2022 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If each ETF return is zero or positive, the payout at maturity will par plus 2.15 times the laggard ETF return.
If the laggard ETF falls by up to 30%, the payout will be par. If the laggard ETF falls by more than 30%, investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the laggard ETF.
