GS Finance to price PLUS due 2020 linked to iShares MSCI EAFE ETF

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 26 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Feb. 5, 2020 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the ETF finishes at or above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 300% of the gain, capped at $11.47 per $10 principal amount.
If the ETF falls, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent and Morgan Stanley Wealth Management will handle distribution.
The notes will price on Oct. 18.
The Cusip number is 36256M197.
