BMO plans buffered bullish enhanced notes tied to iShares MSCI EAFE

Chicago, July 17 – Bank of Montreal plans to price 0% buffered bullish enhanced return notes due July 31, 2020 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any fund gain, up to a maximum return of 15%.
Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to the buffer, which will be 19% to 22%, and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer, with the exact percentage to be set at pricing.

The notes will price on July 26 and settle on July 31.
The Cusip number is 06367T7K0.
