New Issue: RBC sells $931,000 buffered enhanced notes tied to iShares MSCI EAFE

Chicago, Nov. 3 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $931,000 of 0% buffered enhanced return notes due Oct. 31, 2019 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any gain in the fund, up to a maximum return of 19.7%.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.
