New Issue: HSBC sells $594,000 barrier enhanced participation notes on EAFE ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., Sept. 6 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $594,000 of 0% barrier enhanced participation notes due Aug. 31, 2022 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the fund return is greater than zero, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.425 times the gain.
Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 50% and will be fully exposed to the decline if the fund falls by more than 50%.
