New Issue: Goldman prices $815,500 three-year trigger gears tied to MSCI EAFE fund

Chicago, July 11 – GS Finance Corp. priced $815,500 of 0% trigger gears due July 2, 2020 tied to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 1.35 times any gain in the fund.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 25% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline if the fund finishes below its 75% trigger level.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
