Barclays plans five-year trigger gears linked to iShares MSCI EAFE

Chicago, April 11 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% trigger gears due April 29, 2022 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 1.6 times to 1.7 times any fund gain, with the exact upside gearing to be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 25% and will be fully exposed to any losses if the fund finishes below its 75% downside threshold.

Barclays and UBS Financial Services Inc. are the agents.

The notes will price on April 25 and settle on April 28.

The Cusip number is 06746J799.
