New Issue: RBC sells $5.25 million buffer digital return notes tied to iShares MSCI EAFE

Morgantown, W.Va., March 1 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $5.25 million of 0% buffer digital return securities due March 28, 2019 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the fund finishes at or above its 90% digital barrier level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the digital return of 14.05%.
Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any losses beyond 10%.
