New Issue: HSBC prices $3.33 million 5.15% buffered notes linked to Russell 2000, iShares MSCI EAFE

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 29 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $3.33 million of 5.15% buffered notes with fixed coupons due May 29, 2018 linked to the Russell 2000 index and the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the return of the lesser-performing underlier is greater than or equal to negative 22.5%, the payout at maturity will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1.2903% for every 1% that the lesser-performing underlier declines beyond 22.5%.
