Goldman plans 5.65% 12-month fixed coupon notes tied to index, fund

Chicago, Nov. 7 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 5.65% 12-month fixed-coupon notes tied to the Russell 2000 index and the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Interest is payable monthly.
The payment at maturity will be par unless either component falls by more than 20%, in which case investors will lose 1.25% for each 1% decline of the worse performing component beyond 20%.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent.
The Cusip number is 40054KP42.
