New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $2.1 million of 5.13% buffered securities linked to ETF, index

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 4 – Morgan Stanley priced $2.1 million of 5.13% fixed income buffered securities due March 7, 2018 linked to the lesser performing of the Russell 2000 index and the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Interest is payable monthly.
The payout at maturity will be par unless either asset finishes below 77.5% of its initial level, in which case investors will lose 1.29% for every 1% decline in the basket beyond the 22.5% buffer.
