New Issue: GS Finance prices $7.58 million buffered digital notes linked to iShares MSCI EAFE

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 19 – GS Finance Corp. priced $7.58 million of 0% buffered digital notes due March 20, 2018 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the fund return is zero or positive, the payout at maturity will be $1,132.50.
Investors will receive par if the fund declines by 10% or less and will lose 1.1111% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
