Norfolk, Va., April 29 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $554,400 0% trigger gears notes due April 30, 2021 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the fund finishes above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the upside gearing of 1.98 times the gain.
If the fund falls but finishes at or above the 75% trigger level, the payout will be par.
If the fund falls by more than 25%, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.
