New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $4.13 million 5.62% coupon buffered notes tied to index, fund

Chicago, Dec. 22 – Morgan Stanley priced $4.13 million of 5.62% fixed-income buffered securities due April 17, 2017 linked to the Russell 2000 index and the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable monthly.

The payout at maturity will be par unless either component finishes below the 80% barrier level, in which case investors will lose 1.25% for every 1% decline of the worst performing component beyond 20%.
