Royal Bank of Canada to price buffered PLUS on iShares MSCI EAFE ETF

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 23 – Royal Bank of Canada plans to price 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Dec. 20, 2018 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus twice the fund gain, subject to a maximum payment of $13.25 per PLUS.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to the 10% buffer and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.

RBC Capital Markets, LLC is the agent. Distribution is through Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

The notes will price on Dec. 16 and settle on Dec. 21.

The Cusip number is 78013C294.
