New Issue: Citigroup prices $2.58 million buffer securities linked to iShares MSCI EAFE

Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 7 – Citigroup Inc. priced $2.58 million of 0% buffer securities due Oct. 5, 2017 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the ETF return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the ETF return, subject to a 40% maximum return. Investors will receive par if the ETF falls by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
