Goldman plans trigger performance securities on iShares MSCI EAFE

New York, Feb. 3 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% trigger performance securities due Feb. 28, 2020 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 158% to 168% of any fund gain. The exact participation rate will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 25% and will be fully exposed to losses from the initial fund level if it falls by more than 25%.

The notes (Cusip: 38148L577) will price on Feb. 24 and settle on Feb. 27.
