New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $9.3 million buffered PLUS on iShares MSCI EAFE

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Jan. 9 – Morgan Stanley priced $9.3 million of 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Nov. 14, 2016 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any fund gain, subject to a maximum payment of $1,227 per $1,000 principal amount of notes.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 15% and will lose 1.1765% for every 1% decline beyond the 15% buffer.
