Citigroup plans accelerated return notes linked to iShares MSCI EAFE

Chicago, Dec. 4 – Citigroup Inc. plans to price 0% accelerated return notes due June 2018 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus at least 132% of any fund gain.
Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 25% and will be fully exposed to any losses if the fund finishes below the 75% barrier level.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
The notes will price on Dec. 19.
The Cusip number is 1730T03K3.
