JPMorgan plans capped buffered equity notes tied to iShares MSCI EAFE

Chicago, May 8 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price 0% capped buffered equity notes due May 26, 2016 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any gain in the fund, up to a maximum return of at least 14%. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 15% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on May 22 and settle on May 28.

The Cusip number is 48127DHT8.
