New York, March 4 - Barclays Bank plc priced $5,311,370 of 0% Strategic Accelerated Redemption Securities due March 16, 2015 linked to the performance of equal weights of the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund versus the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be called at par of $10 plus an annual premium of 10.85% if the basket is at or above the starting value on any of the three quarterly observation dates.
If the notes are not called, holders will be exposed to any basket decrease at maturity.
