New Issue: Citigroup prices $1.49 million buffer securities on iShares MSCI EAFE

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Jan. 23 - Citigroup Inc. priced $1.49 million of 0% buffer securities due Jan. 26, 2016 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final share price is greater than the initial price, the payout at maturity will be par plus the return, subject to a maximum return of 17%. If the fund declines by 10% or less, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the fund declines beyond 10%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
