Bank of Montreal plans barrier bullish return notes on iShares EAFE

Madison, Wis., Sept. 3 - Bank of Montreal plans to price 0% barrier bullish return notes due Sept. 28, 2018 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 120% of any fund gain.
If the fund return is zero or negative and the fund never closes below the 60% barrier level during the life of the notes, the payout will be par.
If the fund return is zero or negative and the fund closes below the barrier level on any day during the life of the notes, investors will be fully exposed to the fund share price decline.
The notes (Cusip: 06366RQY4) will price Sept. 25 and settle Sept. 30.
