American Software acquires Logility in $7.02-per-share tender offer

Charlotte, N.C., July 9 - American Software, Inc. completed its tender offer for and acquisition of Logility, Inc.

As a result, Logility shares will be delisted from the Nasdaq Global Market, an American Software news release said.

Following completion of American Software's $7.02-per-share tender offer for Logility shares on June 29, the company owned 12,804,866 shares, or 96.7%, of Logility's outstanding common stock.

Prior to the offer, American Software had an approximately 88% equity interest in Logility.

As previously reported, American Software had extended its offer from June 25 and increased its offer price from $5.10 per share.

Logility is a supply chain management solutions provider.

American Software develops, markets and supports integrated business applications, including supply chain management, internet commerce, financial, warehouse management and manufacturing packages.

Both companies are located in Atlanta.
