American Sands Energy arranges private placement with agent Merriman

Funds used for development of the company's oil sands project in Utah

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 24 - American Sands Energy Corp. said it will conduct a brokered private placement. Merriman Capital Inc. is the agent.

Proceeds will be used for development of the company's oil sands project in Utah.

American Sands is an oil sands exploration and development company in Salt Lake City.
