American Rock Salt starts roadshow for $100 million 10-year deal via Jefferies

St. Louis, Feb. 24 - American Rock Salt Co. LLC started a roadshow Tuesday for a $100 million offering of 10-year senior secured notes (B3/B-), according to an informed source.

The deal is expected to price on March 9.

Jefferies & Co. is the bookrunner on the Rule 144A offering.

The notes will come with five years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used to repay debt.

The Mount Morris, N.Y., company operates a highway de-icing rock salt mine.
