Integrys files shelf

Knoxville, Tenn., March 26 - Integrys Energy Group Inc. filed a shelf registration for an unspecified amount in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers debt securities, common stock, stock purchase contracts, stock purchase units, warrants, trust preferred securities and guarantees.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

The use of proceeds will be described in the applicable prospectus supplement.

Integrys is a Chicago-based utility.
