Institutional Shareholder Services plans new debt for buyout by Vestar

New York, March 20 - Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. has received a commitment for debt financing to help fund its acquisition by Vestar Capital Partners from MSCI Inc., according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.

GE Capital Markets is leading the debt.

The combined amount of the debt commitment and an equity commitment from Vestar is $397 million, the filing said.

Under the agreement, Vestar is buying the company for $364 million.

Closing is expected in the second quarter, subject to customary conditions.
