American Medical reiterated at outperform by JMP

JMP Securities analyst Robert C. Faulkner reiterated American Medical Systems Holdings Inc. at market outperform. The American Medical Systems investor meeting last week established higher credibility for the Laserscope acquisition, according to the analyst. JMP sees American Medical as the emerging dominant franchise in its space. Shares of the Dartmouth, Mass.-based medical device company were up 13 cents, or 0.70%, at $18.57. (Nasdaq: AMMD)
