AIG enters distribution agreement for up to $1 billion of notes

New York, May 3 - American International Group, Inc. entered into a distribution agreement to sell up to $1 billion principal amount of notes from time to time, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes may be issued in one or more foreign or composite currencies.

The agents include AIG Global Capital Markets Securities, LLC, ANZ Securities, Inc., Barclays, Bank of New York Mellon Capital Markets, LLC, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., ING Financial Markets LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Lloyds Securities Inc., BofA Merrill Lynch and Mizuho Securities USA Inc.
