American Independence issues corrections to fees tables for two funds

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, March 22 - American Independence Funds Trust made corrections in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission to the fees tables published in the Feb. 29 prospectus of two funds.

In the table for the American Independence Active Interest Rate Management Fund, the maximum sales charge for class A shares was corrected to 2.25%. The fee was previously incorrectly reported as 4.25%.

In addition, the fee waiver for the American Independence U.S. Inflation-Indexed Fund was corrected to be 0.31% instead of 0.29%. However, the net annual fund operating expenses had been reported correctly and did not change.

New York-based American Independence Financial Services, LLC serves as the investment adviser to the funds.
