Pacific Select ups fees by 0.01% for three American Funds portfolios

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Jan. 4 - Pacific Select Fund announced that the prospectus for the class I and class P shares for three of its American Funds Insurance Series funds is being amended to reflect increased fees.

According to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the American Funds Growth Fund, the American Funds Growth-Income Fund and the American Funds Asset Allocation Fund will be assessed an additional 0.01% fee, which is payable to Los Angeles-based Capital Research and Management Co., the investment adviser to each fund. The fee is for administrative services that Capital Research and its affiliates provide to each fund.

The fee will also be reflected on the fee table for each fund's corresponding portfolio, the American Funds Growth Portfolio, the American Funds Growth-Income Portfolio and the American Funds Asset Allocation Portfolio. Each of the portfolios invests all of its assets in its corresponding fund and therefore includes fund fees and expenses as part of its own annual fund operating expenses.
