American Express Credit plans to bring note offering Wednesday

New York, July 24 - American Express Credit Corp. is in the market Wednesday with an offering of notes (A2/A-/A+), a market source said.

Tranches and maturities have not been finalized, the source added.

Bookrunners are Barclays, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

The New York-based financial services company was last in the U.S. bond market with a $750 million reopening of 1.75% notes due 2015 on Aug. 14, 2012.
