Omaha, Sept. 10 - American Express Centurion Bank priced $1 billion of 10-year 6% bank notes Monday, a market source said.
The notes (Aa3/A+) have a price of 99.755 with a yield of 6.033%. They are non-callable.
Bookrunners were Banc of America Securities LLC, BNP Paribas Securities Corp. and Citigroup Global Markets Inc.
The company is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and issues and services American Express revolving credit cards.
