Moody's: Hyundai Capital notes Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 rating to Hyundai Capital Services' proposed dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes to be drawn from Hyundai's $5 billion global medium-term note program.

The outlook is positive.

"The rating incorporates its adequate fundamentals as well as support from two major shareholders: Hyundai Motor Co. and the commitment from GE Capital Corp.," Moody's vice president and senior credit officer Youngil Choi said in a news release.
