Moody's lowers Hyundai outlook to negative

Moody's Investors Service said it has changed to negative from stable the outlook for all of Hyundai Capital Services' ratings.

These include the company's foreign currency issuer rating and foreign currency senior debt rating, both at Baa2, the agency said.

"The negative outlook reflects Moody's concerns over its funding capability and a deteriorating operating environment," said Leo Wah, a Moody's VP/senior analyst.

"The ratings will continue to factor in expected support from Hyundai Motor Co. (Baa3) and the strong commitment from GE Capital Corp. (Aaa)," adds Wah.
