Moody's assigns Hyundai Capital notes Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 rating to Hyundai Capital America's benchmark senior unsecured notes.

Moody's also affirmed Hyundai Capital's Baa2 issuer rating.

The outlook for Hyundai Capital's ratings is positive, reflecting the positive outlook for its parent Hyundai Motor Co.

Moody's said the Baa2 rating assigned to Hyundai Capital's senior unsecured notes reflects the strong support it receives from its ultimate parent Hyundai Motor, Hyundai Capital's stand-alone credit characteristics and the senior priority of the notes in Hyundai Capital's capital structure.
