New Issue: Hydro-Quebec sells C$500 million ninth add-on to 4% series JS debentures due 2063
Chicago, March 21 – Hydro-Quebec issued C$500 million of additional 4% series JS debentures due in 2063, according to a press release.
The debentures were discounted to 93.353 to yield 4.356%.
National Bank Financial Inc. was the lead manager.
This is the ninth additional tranche to the issue initially from May 13, 2022. The total amount outstanding will now be C$5 billion.
The renewable energy provider is owned by the Province of Quebec.
