S&P ups Huntington bonds

Standard & Poor's said it raised the ratings on six bond issues supported by Huntington National Bank letters of credit to BBB+ from BBB-.

The ratings on the six affected bond issues are based on the BBB+ issuer credit ratings on Huntington National Bank.

These ratings also address an assessment of the likelihood of repayment of principal and interest to maturity based on the credit support that Huntington National Bank provides for each bond series in the form of a letter of credit, the agency said.
