New Issue: Huntington Bancshares sells $500 million 4% seven-year notes at 112.5 bps spread

Tupelo, Miss., May 8 – Huntington Bancshares Inc. priced $500 million of 4% seven-year senior notes with a spread of 112.5 basis points over Treasuries on Tuesday, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes (Baa1/BBB+/A-) priced at 99.686 to yield 4.052%.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, RBC Capital Markets LLC and Huntington Investment Co. were the bookrunners.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
Huntington Bancshares is a Columbus, Ohio-based regional bank holding company.
