Fitch affirms Humana

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the BBB long-term issuer default rating and BBB- senior debt ratings of Humana Inc.

In addition, Fitch said it affirms the insurer financial strength ratings of Humana's primary insurance operating subsidiaries. The outlook remains negative.

Over the past five years, the company has generated good operating performance and very strong revenue growth while maintaining adequate operating company capitalization, the agency said.
