Huffy receives extension to exclusive period

Houston, Feb. 16 - Huffy Corp. was granted an extension to its exclusive period to file a reorganization plan through May 4 and an extension to July 3 for soliciting and obtaining acceptances to the plan.
The extension was included in an order filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
The Miamisburg, Ohio-based bicycle and sporting goods company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 20, 2004. Huffy's Chapter 11 case number is 04-39148.
