Hudson Securities hires Bonebrake, Lipman to lead corporate finance, private capital groups

Milwaukee, June 16 - Hudson Securities, Inc. has appointed Steve Bonebrake and John Lipman as managing directors in its investment banking division, according to a press release.
Bonebrake and Lipman will report to Frank J. Drazka, head of investment banking.
Bonebrake joins the firm's corporate finance group, where he will focus on global capital markets and corporate client coverage.
Lipman will be part of the firm's private capital group, where he will focus on financings for emerging growth companies through PIPEs, registered direct offerings and private placements of debt and equity.
Bonebrake was previously with Pali Capital as a managing director, responsible for private placements for public companies.
Before that, he was a managing director and head of the equity capital markets group at SMH Capital, Inc. and managing director and head of the European technology group of SG Cowen.
He also worked in investment banking at Lehman Brothers in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Bonebrake holds a B.A. in economics and art history from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
Prior to joining Hudson, Lipman was a managing director at EarlyBirdCapital, Inc.
Previously, he was founder and chairman of Carter Securities LLC, an investment bank focused on PIPE transactions in the health care, life sciences and technology industries.
Lipman received a B.A. in economics from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla.
