By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., July 31 – Hubbell Inc. intends to price an offering of fixed-rate senior notes, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes have a make-whole call and then a par call.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and BofA Merrill Lynch are the bookrunners for the offering.

Proceeds will be used to redeem the company’s $300 million of 5.95% senior notes due 2018 and for general corporate purposes.

The electrical and electronic products company is based in Shelton, Conn.
