New Issue: HSBC sells $657,000 buffered digital notes tied to S&P 500

Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 27 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $657,000 of 0% buffered digital due March 30, 2023 tied to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes at or above 85% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 15.5%.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.
