HSBC plans buffered accelerated market participation notes on MSCI ACWI

Olympia, Wash., May 24 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due in 20 months linked to the iShares MSCI ACWI exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any ETF gain, up to a maximum return of 14%.

Investors will receive par if the ETF falls by up to 5% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 5%.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.

The Cusip number is 40435FF85.

The notes will price on June 8 and settle on June 13.
