New Issue: HSBC prices $952,000 buffered uncapped notes linked to S&P 500

Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 4 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $952,000 of 0% Buffered Uncapped Market Participation Securities due Dec. 6, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return is greater than zero, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return. Investors will receive par if the index falls by 15% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 15%.
