New Issue: HSBC prices $11.68 million digital notes linked to S&P 500

Morgantown, W.Va., Jan. 23 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $11.68 million of 0% digital notes due Oct. 23, 2018 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes at or above 90% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be the threshold settlement amount of $1,106.50 per $1,000 principal amount.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1.1111% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.
