HSBC plans to price 36- to 39-month digital notes linked to EM ETF

Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 19 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 36- to 39-month 0% digital notes linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the ETF return is greater than or equal to 85% of the initial level, the payout at maturity will be the threshold settlement amount of $1,195.70 to $1,230.00 per $1,000 note. Otherwise, investors will lose 1.1765% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.

The Cusip number is 40433UVJ2.
